@nziriaa @marcocaricola XSWORDS is the transformative musical project by multimedia artist Marco Carìcola. Since debuting in 2024 with a curated series of live performances, DJ sets, and radio mixes (Radio alHara, Stegi, Linecheck), he has built a growing body of work influenced by Latin club music, experimental noise, and the melodic traditions of his native Mediterranean.
As a producer and songwriter, XSWORDS has brought his sound to film (‘Adventure’ on Apple TV+) and installation art (Saatchi Gallery, TriBeCa, SXSW, TATE Modern), while regularly collaborating with artists and spaces that push the boundaries between underground and mainstream culture. As a creative storyteller, he builds worlds at the threshold between the physical and digital dimensions.
XSWORDS’ first public work, “Rifts of The Summon,” assembles unfinished song and lyric fragments into a fractured and mesmerising concert, originally recorded for the XII edition of the Condivisione art residency in Italy.
