Gare de Lyme, a duo of Lily Margery and Vampire Garage, will guide you during this ba(l)lade, towards downtempo and ambient electronic sounds in an immersive approach, mixing synthetic sheets, (de)constructed rhythms, field recording, deep bass and aerial samples. The duo intertwines two sensitivities, enriching each other and drawing their influences from synth-pop/synth-punk, folk, rap and experimental electronic music.

For this show, we would like to guide the listener towards a field made of melancholic blends and deconstructed pulsations. We will transform downtempo and ambient into a moving walk where folk, rap, synth-punk and hypnoagogic pop intersect creating a sound landscape between reverie and drift.

We like to meet the mediums and would like to accompany this mix of our personal readings/writings of the moment.
